The Field Technician is responsible for the application of aquatic herbicides and algaecides, as well as the maintenance of lakes, ponds, and other water bodies. Duties include controlling algae and nuisance aquatic vegetation, installing and maintaining fountains and aeration systems, conducting water quality testing, stocking fish, managing mosquito larvae, and performing littoral shelf maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Apply aquatic herbicides and algaecides to lakes and ponds Install and maintain fountains and aeration systems Perform water quality testing and diagnostics Control mosquito larvae populations Stock fish in designated water bodies Conduct maintenance of littoral shelves and shoreline vegetation Operate boats, ATVs, and spray trucks in various outdoor environments Communicate effectively with clients and deliver excellent customer service Maintain accurate records of treatments and services performed Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Strong work ethic with a passion for working outdoors Good math and science skills Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to lift 50 lbs. and carry a 40-lb. backpack sprayer throughout the day on uneven terrain Comfortable working around water bodies in variable weather conditions Must have an excellent driving record Ability to pass a drug screening (Drug-Free Workplace) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with aquatic vegetation control and the use of aquatic herbicides/algaecides Experience with fountain and aeration system installation and maintenance Applicator license is highly preferred Schedule: Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:30 PM TIGRIS Aquatic Services LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate on the basis of actual or perceived race, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, sex or gender (including pregnancy, childbirth, pregnancy-related conditions, and lactation), gender identity or expression (including transgender status), sexual orientation, marital status, military service and veteran status, physical or mental disability, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws and ordinances.
