Description Indoor Sciences Field Technician – Industrial Hygiene Division TTI Environmental, Inc. is an integrated environmental services contractor and consulting firm. TTI services government, industrial, commercial, academic, financial, and private clients nationwide and is headquartered in Moorestown, New Jersey. TTI is seeking a full-time Indoor Sciences Field Technician to join our Industrial Hygiene Division. This is a hybrid position – working in the field with occasional trips to TTI’s Moorestown office. A current NJ AST certification is required for this role. Responsibilities Inspection and on-site monitoring for asbestos, mold, lead paint, and indoor air quality Conduct detailed surveys for asbestos, lead based paint, right to know, and mold Perform air monitoring and contractor oversight during asbestos abatement projects Maintain, operate, and calibrate a variety of sampling and monitoring equipment Technical report writing and interpretation of analytical data Timeliness, time management, ability to meet deadlines, and responsiveness to emergencies is vital Assignments are of varying complexity and under direction of a project manager Skills & Qualifications Current EPA/AHERA Asbestos Building Inspector accreditation preferred Lead licenses preferred Knowledge of general building mechanical systems and building construction High School or Mechanical/Trade School Diploma Associate or B.S. in Environmental Science preferred Exhibit clear, concise verbal and written communication skills General computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Independent thinking and self-motivation are essential Requirements New Jersey Asbestos Safety Technician certification is required Minimum of 2 years’ relative asbestos experience is required Ability to commute to remote sites as needed Willingness to work limited weekends and second shift Ability to perform field work and meet physical demands Must be able to carry up to 30 lbs. of equipment and use ladders Willingness to learn, complete training, and obtain various certifications Valid driver’s license and ability to successfully pass a pre-employment screening and physical Must be a US citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship TTI is a growing and dynamic team environment with excellent benefits and advantages.
