As we grow, we’re looking for a skilled and passionate Field Technician to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the top-notch service that keeps our clients’ operations running smoothly.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Field Technician will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC router machines at client locations. Additionally, when not on-site with clients, the role will involve assisting with manufacturing and operations in our workshop. A solid understanding of CNC machine operation and programming will be beneficial, as you will be supporting the full cycle of machine production and client servicing. Occasional national travel will be required to service clients across the country.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in servicing and operating CNC machines or similar equipment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel nationally when required
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Service and repair CNC router machines at customer sites
• Conduct routine maintenance and machine inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues
• Assist in manufacturing operations in the workshop when not in the field
• Operate and run CNC machines during manufacturing
• Provide training and technical support to customers
• Complete detailed service reports and ensure customer satisfaction
• Communicate effectively with the technical team and customers
• Maintain an organized schedule and manage time efficiently
• Travel occasionally to client sites across South Africa as required
