Skyfuel’s experienced and dedicated team are experts in delivering aviation fuel solutions across regional airports in NSW and Victoria. From managing airport operations to providing self-service fuel facilities at numerous end-user locations to bulk aviation fuel delivery, specialised services and products. We’re expanding our team and looking for a hands-on, safety-focused Field Technician to support operations across our national network of airport sites. About the Role As a Field Technician, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and servicing aviation fuel infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and supporting the seamless delivery of fuel to our aviation partners. This is a dynamic, field-based role requiring regular travel to various airport locations across the country. Note: This role has been re-advertised. Previous applications need not apply. Job Description Key Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aviation fuel systems and equipment. Assist with installation and commissioning of new fuel infrastructure. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the field. Maintain accurate records and reports of service activities. Collaborate with site teams and contractors to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications What We’re Looking For Experience in mechanical, electrical, automotive or fuel systems maintenance (aviation, automotive or relevant industry preferred). Deep understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance. Willingness to travel frequently and work independently. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Current driver’s licence (HR or MR licence advantageous). Relevant trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter, diesel Mechanic, Fabrication, Boilermaker etc.).
