Description

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Field Warehouse Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of the warehouse, focusing on the safe and efficient handling, storage, and movement of materials. Responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming shipments, verifying contents, and accurately logging data. You will also operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move and organize inventory. Additionally, you will prepare, label, and dispatch outgoing orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Maintaining proper inventory levels through regular counts and restocking is essential, as is keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with all safety protocols. This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to supporting a well-run warehouse environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience operating a forklift or pallet jack a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • The work environment is mostly indoors, in a clean, well-lighted and temperature-controlled office.
  • Required to work near others, sharing an open office space.
  • Travel requirement up to 75%

Responsibilities
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
  • Locates and packs materials for shipping.
  • Documents materials and records units delivered and location of units.
  • Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
  • Documents product shipment by recording units shipped..
  • Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
  • Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
  • Open containers, sort, and catalog materials.
  • Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.
  • Gathering, collating, and preparing documents, materials, and information for data entry.
  • Conducting research to obtain information for incomplete documents and materials.
  • Creating digital documents from paper or dictation.
  • Reviewing all documents and information for accuracy and informing the supervisor of any errors or inconsistencies.
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and schedules.
  • Supervising material flow, storage and global order fulfillment.
  • Unloading, picking, staging and loading products for shipping.
  • Conducting monthly, quarterly and yearly inventories of warehouse stock.
