Description

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintain and improve the QMS in line with API Q1, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other applicable standards. * Handle API audits, customer audits, surveillance audits, and compliance documentation. * Conduct internal audits and ensure effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions. * Monitor departmental objectives, quality objectives, and KPI performance. * Conduct Management Review Meetings (MRM), prepare MIS reports, and follow up on action items. * Liaise with certification bodies, customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities. * Ensure process compliance, document control, and effective implementation of QMS procedures. * Support training and awareness programs related to quality systems and compliance requirements. * Manage customer quality requirements, complaints, and resolution activities. * Support supplier quality assessments, vendor evaluations, and supplier qualification processes. * Maintain quality records, audit documentation, manuals, procedures, and related reports. * Identify improvement opportunities and drive continual improvement initiatives across operations. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS * B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. * Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Oil & Gas environments. * Experience with API Q1 standards and QMS implementation. * Internal Auditor Certification preferred. * Strong understanding of quality systems, audit processes, and compliance documentation. * Familiarity with QMS procedures, manual formats, and audit documentation requirements. * Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report preparation. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Exposure to API 5B, API 7-1, API 7-2, or premium threading standards. * Experience in supplier quality management and vendor qualification processes. * Knowledge of manufacturing quality tools and continual improvement methodologies. * Experience in handling customer audits and certification audits independently.
