JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care assessor to oversee the delivery of high-quality care covering all North Norfolk villages, including Cromer, Aylsham, North Walsham, Sheringham, Holt, Felmingham and surrounding. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in mentoring the care team, ensuring that all care plans are effectively implemented, and maintaining a supportive environment for both clients and staff. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for elderly care.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a domiciliary care setting is preferred.
  • An understanding of adult care practices and principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with developing care plans tailored to individual needs is advantageous.
  • A commitment to maintaining the dignity and respect of all residents while promoting their independence.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Paid travel and mileage between clients
  • Weekly pay on a Friday
  • You MUST be willing to participate in rostered on call duties
  • You must be willing to work mornings, evenings and alternative weekends
  • Having an NVQ3 is advantageous, however if you do not have this you must be willing to work towards (these are fully funded)
    Pay rates
    £13.51 during the week
    £14.31 at weekends
    £15.90 bank holidays

Responsibilities
