Fighter Aircraft Fuels Systems Maintenance Technician Company: Boeing Qatar Incorporated Boeing Global Service is seeking for a Fighter Aircraft Fuels Systems Maintenance Technician to assist in our maintenance efforts in Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. Position Responsibilities: Removal/Installation of Fuel Systems components to facilitate the repair of system failures or implement process of elimination. Performs routine troubleshooting using pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. Performs Operational Checkout to validate/verify testing of Fuel Systems and components. Inspects component before installation or usage to verify cleanliness and serviceability of components. Disassembles systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes. Performs routine troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. Inspects component before installation or usage to verify cleanliness and serviceability of components. Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications. Performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations). Able to assign and perform CUT (Cross Utilization Training) as required. Works under general supervision. This position requires the ability to obtain the US Security Clearance from the US Government. Basic Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year experience in Aircraft Fuel Systems. Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts Preferred Qualifications: Experience on military fighter platforms (F-16, F-18, F-22, F-5, F-14, or F-15) Military or vocational school related to discipline or equivalent.
