 Filler - Parts Washer 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Position: Primarily involves filling product containers from bulk containers. Involves paying attention to detail, following standard operating procedures, and precision. Summary: Backs up Parts Washer, Filler, Packer/Stacker. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Backs up the following positions: Parts Washer, Filler, Packer/Stacker. * Assists in the general cleanliness of the production area. * Works with other departments as needed. * Other duties as assigned. Job Duties: * Operating and cleaning the fluid filling and packaging equipment. * Cleaning the environment of the filling room. * Maintaining sanitary equipment and environment for the packaging of fluid products. * Operating fluid filling equipment at a proficient level, while filling products into gallon, five-gallon, and larger bulk. * Operating the floor cleaner and scrubbing equipment. * Disassembling and reassembling fluid fillers and associated equipment for cleaning. * Responsible for manual and hand cleaning of casers, labelers, conveyors, fillers, filler parts stackers, walls, drains, empty case conveyors, control panels, and any equipment involved in packaging. * Operating and maintaining equipment of the fluid packaging area, including labelers, conveyors, fillers, casers, stackers, etc. * Maintaining accurate written production records. * Monitor weight control of products and producing a quality product in a manner that meets Lucta and Regulatory standards. Ability to follow production schedules. * Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. * Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. * Computer Skills - None required.
