JOB OVERVIEW

Our client in Aurora is looking for - Filler Operator. Candidates must have experience in the beverage industry. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Tetra Pak machines and preferably hold a Mechanical Engineering degree.
Position: Filler Operator
Location: Aurora
Pay: $19- $20+/ hour (depending upon experience)
Shift: Night (Thursday to Sunday)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience operating Tetra Pak machines is essential.
  • Mechanical Engineering degree (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of food safety and manufacturing regulations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to judge production quality.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor Tetra Pak filling machines to ensure efficient production.
  • Perform package integrity checks and ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate production records and support quality systems.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and company policies.
  • Monitor raw materials and supplies to prevent production delays.
  • Ensure all sanitation and sterilization processes for the machine are properly executed.
  • Assist PLE operator(s) and support the technical team with maintenance activities.
  • Identify, judge, and prioritize downtime events for quick resolution.
  • Ensure adequate supply of packaging materials and coordinate replenishments.
  • Determine acceptable quality ranges and make shutdown decisions when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively between palletizing and DE operations for smooth workflow.
  • Plan and execute changeovers in line with the production schedule.
