About the role

The Film and Video Editor will be responsible for editing and producing video content for digital marketing campaigns, branding projects, social media, websites, promotional materials, and other online platforms. The role involves reviewing and organising raw footage, selecting and editing visual and audio material, applying appropriate editing techniques and effects, and producing finished video content that meets project requirements, brand guidelines, and technical specifications. The successful candidate will work closely with digital marketers, designers, web developers, and project managers to translate creative and marketing objectives into engaging and effective video content.

Key responsibilities

• Review, organise and edit raw video footage, audio and other visual materials to produce high-quality content for digital campaigns, websites, social media, advertising and branding projects.
• Select and arrange footage, sound, music, graphics, captions and other visual elements, including colour correction, audio adjustment, transitions and other post-production techniques.
• Collaborate with digital marketers, designers, web developers and project managers to interpret creative briefs and deliver video content aligned with client branding, campaign objectives and project requirements.
• Prepare and adapt video content for different digital platforms, formats, screen sizes and technical specifications.
• Review completed work, incorporate client and internal feedback, and ensure final outputs meet required creative and technical standards.
• Organise and maintain video assets, project files and source materials, and provide ongoing editing and technical support for existing content.
• Keep up to date with relevant video editing technologies, digital formats and content trends and contribute creative and technical ideas to digital marketing projects.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, Digital Media, Multimedia, Video Production or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in film and video editing or a closely related role.
• Demonstrated experience in professional video editing and post-production, with proficiency in software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of video editing, visual composition, sequencing, colour correction, audio editing and digital video formats.
• Experience producing video content for websites, social media, digital advertising and other online platforms.
• Ability to interpret creative briefs, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
