Description Galaxy Theatres and Arcangelo Entertainment are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Film Department Coordinator to support our Film Department. The Film Department serves as the central point between theatre operators/owners and the studios and distributors that release films. The Coordinator will assist with film booking administration, advanced ticketing, alternative content, repertory programming, reporting, scheduling, and department administration across more than 60 theatre locations nationwide. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and an interest in the film industry (exhibition or distribution) is helpful. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support the Film Buying Team with film booking administration, scheduling, and client communications. Assist with repertory programming, alternative content opportunities, and specialty film initiatives. Coordinate advanced ticketing launches, film setup, and related studio communications. Maintain film calendars, release schedules, databases, reports, and departmental resources. Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials used by Film Department leadership. Collaborate with theatre operators, studios, distributors, and internal departments to support the successful release and programming of films. Requirements Required Qualifications Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Professional communication skills when interacting with studios, distributors, theatre operators, and clients. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Experience in theatrical exhibition, film distribution, entertainment, project coordination, scheduling, administrative support, or related fields. Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, Vista, Comscore, or similar systems is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are beneficial but not required. Interest in the film industry, theatrical exhibition, or entertainment preferred but not required.
