Responsibilities

We are looking for a Technician to support our Film Studio facilities. The faculty Film Studio facilities support film and television production utilising a wide range of film production equipment.
You will have a demonstrable background in the technical aspects of film and television production enabling you to ensure camera, sound and lighting kits are prepared for workshops and to support the lecturing staff by responding to technical queries or problems.
Knowledge of industry practice, particularly pertaining to Risk Assessments and Health and Safety is essential.
The post holder will be expected to work under their own initiative as well as part of a team; they will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to undertake this student facing role successfully.
