WHAT WILL YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES LOOK LIKE?

  • Confirming adherence to the relevant quality procedures and requirements.
  • Working to route cards, work instructions and drawings.
  • Verification of Quality Assured Product including:
  • Works Order Completion and stamping.
  • Visual inspection and verification of conformance to product standards.
  • Material traceability and serialization (As required).
  • Issue and Build Standard (Version) control.
  • Quality compliance (including FAI coverage, concessions, permits and release gateways).
  • Completion of Quality requirements and QN closure.
  • Gateway inspection for Quality checklists and any additional alerts.
  • Basic measurement techniques and Hand Gauging.
  • Part cleaning and protection.
  • Declaring any non-conformance’s and working with quality to disposition parts.
  • Finalizing paperwork and system transaction on completed work prior to dispatch.
  • Control, operate and maintain stock control systems as appropriate.
  • Other duties as required to support the operational team.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, such as ACE activities (5S, TPM, Turnbacks, and Clinics).
  • Maintain traceability of materials and adhere to rigorous quality control standards.
  • Pursue ongoing training.
  • Keep the workspace clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
  • Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) requirements.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE ROLE?

  • Sheet Metal Fabrication, Machining and Quality Inspection experience
  • Conscientious with attention to detail.
  • Willing to work under own initiative in a medium volume production environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • PC literacy – with capability to perform basic transactional duties.

This role requires flexibility to work in rotating shifts:

  • Morning: 6:00 AM–1:45 PM (Monday–Thursday) and 6:00 AM–12:00 PM (Friday).
  • Afternoon: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM (Monday–Thursday) and 12:15 PM–5:15 PM (Friday)
