In the role of Finance Accountant, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and supporting financial operations as we grow. You’ll work closely with leadership and contribute to building scalable financial processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a broad accounting scope, works independently, and thrives in a dynamic environment. Your Responsibilities Manage daily cash flow, monitor bank accounts, and ensure sufficient liquidity Support cash flow forecasting in collaboration with leadership Oversee and review accounting entries from external accountants Process outgoing payments accurately and on time; support month-end close and maintain AP records Prepare and file VAT (DPH) returns in line with Czech regulations Reconcile VAT accounts, resolve discrepancies, and liaise with tax advisors Perform regular reconciliations (bank, VAT, AP, accruals, prepayments) Book payroll entries, ensure correct cost allocation, and reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts Coordinate with external payroll provider to ensure accuracy and timeliness Track costs vs. budget, identify variances, and provide ad hoc financial analysis Contribute to improving reporting processes and financial controls Your Profile 3+ years of accounting experience (AP or all-round role) Degree in Finance or Accounting Strong knowledge of Czech accounting standarts & VAT regulations Fluent in Czech and English Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo) and advanced Excel Experience with AP processes, account reconciliations, and payroll accounting High attention to detail and a structured, organised approach to work Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment Your Benefits The chance to be part of a mission-driven, innovative company in a rapid growth phase 📈 Significant discount on our products 🧡 Personal educational budget for self-development 🧑‍🎓 Hybrid working model 🏢🏠 Office snacks and refreshments 🥗 Offices in Prague and London (with occasional travel opportunities) 🌍 25 vacation days + 3 sick days per year 🏝️ Regular company gatherings and team-building events 👯 We’re excited to meet candidates who share our passion and values!
