Position Title: Finance & Business Analytics Intern

Location: Remote | Start Date: Immediately | Duration: Sept - Dec 2025
Type: Internship (College credit or volunteer hours available)
Engagement Commitment: 20 hours/week

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets and financial/accounting software (QuickBooks experience is a plus).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual team.
  • Interest in wellness, sound healing, or nonprofit management is a plus.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Finance & Business Analytics Intern will play a key role in managing accounting records, analyzing business performance, and providing insights that support strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for someone interested in finance, data analysis, and the operations of a global nonprofit/spiritual wellness organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records (income, expenses, donations, and event budgets).
  • Support bookkeeping activities and reconcile accounts.
  • Generate regular financial reports for leadership.
  • Conduct business analytics, including participant engagement trends, revenue forecasting, and cost analysis.
  • Track KPIs across events and practitioner engagement.
  • Provide insights to support strategic growth and sustainability.
  • Assist in preparing financial documentation for board meetings, donors, or grant applications.
  • Ensure compliance with nonprofit finance regulations.
