JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting staff member to join to work together in London Branch.
The Successful candidate will be responsible for managing internal finance and corporate tax compliance, financial reporting, and accounting operations while ensuring adherence to UK tax regulations and accounting standards(IFRS/UK GAAP).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or CTA qualification preferred
  • Experience in a multinational company or tax advisory firm
  • Experience working with HMRC tax audits and inquiries
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling

Responsibilities

DUTIES: TAXATION

  • Manage and oversee the tax returns, calculations, and submissions to HMRC, provided by external accountants and financial consulting firms to ensure compliance with corporate tax requirements.
  • Manage tax audits and liaise with HMRC regarding tax inquiries.
  • Monitor changes in UK Tax legislation and assess their impact on the company
  • Prepare and review VAT Returns
  • Handle PAYE, National Insurance, and employment tax matters.

DUTIES: ACCOUNTING & FINANCIAL REPORTING

  • Perform bank reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Ensure accurate management accounts preparation and financial reporting.
  • Assist in statutory audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls.
  • Support budgeting and financial planning.
  • Provide tax and accounting insights to support business decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for tax efficiency and risk mitigation.
