Job Summary: You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, robust financial analysis, and maintaining the organizations financial integrity. This role oversees daily accounting operations, strengthens internal controls, and delivers financial insights to support strategic decision-making. You will lead and develop a team of finance and accounting professionals, ensuring process efficiency and compliance with all relevant regulations. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Corporate Planning team to support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements) in accordance with GAAP/IFRS. Manage the consolidation of financial data across departments or entities to ensure consistency and accuracy. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. Coordinate internal and external audits, acting as the main point of contact and providing required documentation and explanations. Accounting Operations Management: Supervise all general ledger activities, ensuring accurate classification and recording of transactions. Lead efficient month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany reconciliations. Review and oversee balance sheet reconciliations (e.g. bank accounts, account receivable, account payable, fixed assets). Oversee transaction processing related to GL, AP, AR, and project accounting Maintain and enforce strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity. Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Monitor and optimize daily cash flow, manage working capital effectively Assist in managing banking relationships and facilities. Ensure optimal utilization of funds. Process Improvement & Systems: Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within both finance and accounting functions. Evaluate and recommend enhancing reporting and analytical capabilities. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, coach, and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering a high-performance culture. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify development opportunities. Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring equitable workload distribution and adherence to deadlines. Job Specifications: Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Masters degree or MBA is a plus. CPD is required. CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent certification is highly preferred. Strong experience in Finance and Accounting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and general ledger management, including month-end/year-end close processes. Familiarity with various accounting/ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred. Experience in financial consolidation and reporting. Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of GAAP (must have) or IFRS (concept), and Thai Accounting Standards. Solid understanding of tax codes and regulations in Thailand. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Proven leadership skills with experience in team management and development. Effective communicator with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modeling). Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines. High integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards. Business-minded with a strategic mindset and track record of driving financial insights. Fluent in Thai with good written and verbal English communication skills. Confident and collaborative team player, capable of engaging with senior management and diverse stakeholders.
