About the job
As Financial Systems & Process Manager, you are responsible for the technical and procedural foundation of our Finance function – from the implementation and continuous development of our ERP system to consolidation and the processes and interfaces that support our growth. Your current focus is on the international ERP roll-out and building a robust consolidation process, working closely with Accounting, Controlling, and IT.
About JOLT
Jolt Energy is a fast-growing company that has built up a high-power charging (HPC) network of more than 220 charge points in metropolitan areas in Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands. Our vision is to enable the transition to electric mobility in and around cities across Europe. Therefore, we provide high-power charging reliably and for everyone exactly where it is needed - in the middle of everyday urban life.
Core Responsibilities
- Strategy & Target Picture: You define the strategic direction of our finance systems landscape and develop a clear target picture for ERP, consolidation, and processes. Owning the roadmap to continuously evolve toward this target picture is your responsibility.
- ERP System & Roll-out: The implementation and international roll-out of our ERP system across additional subsidiaries sits with you. You define requirements, manage implementation partners, and drive the development of new functionalities.
- Consolidation: You hold ownership of the consolidation process for the holding company, individual subsidiaries, and the consolidated group. This includes building automated, ERP-based procedures and progressively phasing out existing manual processes.
- Cost Centers & Master Data: The cost center structure within the ERP system – from system architecture to master data and allocation logic – also falls within your remit.
- Reporting Packages & Interfaces: Working closely with Accounting, you develop and maintain reporting packages for our international entities. You are also responsible for the financial interfaces to other business areas and ensure standardised data flows.
- Process Improvement: You keep an overview of the Finance function, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corresponding process enhancements – with the goal of greater automation, standardisation, and efficiency.
- Performance & Reporting: You define and track the relevant KPIs for your area (e.g. data quality, system availability, consolidation turnaround times) and report regularly on progress and strategic developments to senior leadership.
Profile Snapshot
- Finance & Systems Background: Solid experience in finance and accounting (bookkeeping and/or controlling) as well as demonstrated experience with ERP systems (implementation, roll-out, configuration, or key-user role); experience in a growing, international environment is a plus.
- Consolidation & Accounting Standards: Strong understanding of German GAAP (HGB), IFRS, and consolidation logic, along with the ability to translate business requirements into system architecture.
- Process Design: Proven ability to structure, standardise, and automate processes – with a strong sense of initiative in designing new systems and workflows.
- Analytical & Controlling Understanding: Experience in controlling and/or FP&A is an advantage – a grasp of KPI logic, budgeting and forecasting helps you define system requirements on a sound professional basis. Ideally, you also bring experience in investment controlling.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Strong ability to align Accounting, Controlling, IT, and other business functions around shared system goals – comfortable working with diverse stakeholders across multiple countries.
- Languages: Fluent in English and German, with full professional working proficiency and strong business negotiation skills.
