Thermal Works LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Finance & Accounting Manager to join our team, working directly with the COO and CEO Thermal Works as well as the Endeavour Accounting Department. This role focuses on the accounting functions within Thermal Works and Liaising with Endeavour Accounting. The Finance & Accounting Manager needs to be agile, professional, trustworthy with confidential information, and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment. Key Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Financial Operations & Reporting Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes within Epicor Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial data and reporting ERP & Systems (Epicor-Focused) Serve as the primary finance owner for Epicor ERP Ensure proper setup, maintenance, and use of Epicor financial modules (GL, AP, AR, inventory, job costing, etc.) Partner with operations and IT to improve Epicor workflows, reporting, and data integrity Support system upgrades, enhancements, and user training related to Epicor Budgeting & Forecasting Lead annual budgeting and periodic re-forecasting processes Develop financial models and forecasts using Epicor data and operational inputs Partner with department leaders to track performance against budget Compliance & Controls Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal financial policies Maintain and strengthen internal controls, including those embedded in Epicor Coordinate audits, tax filings, and external financial reviews Cash Flow & Financial Management Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity Oversee AP/AR processes and optimize billing, collections, and payment cycles Support banking relationships and financing activities as needed Process Improvement & Scaling Identify opportunities to automate and streamline financial processes using Epicor Document and standardize finance procedures to support growth Drive cost control initiatives and operational efficiency improvements Leadership & Collaboration Manage and mentor finance/accounting staff (if applicable) Act as a trusted financial partner to operations, sales, and leadership teams Present financial insights, risks, and recommendations to senior management Skills & Requirements Education / Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting Hands-on experience using Epicor ERP in a finance or accounting role Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with ERP-based data, preferred CPA, CMA, or MBA Experience in manufacturing, energy, construction, or project-based environments Experience scaling finance operations in a growing organization Epicor implementation, optimization, or upgrade experience Great Place to Work Enjoy… A fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture focused on innovation.
