Job Role: Finance & Accounts Coordinator Compensation range: $1500 - $2000 AUD / Monthly Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time. Who The Client Is: a leading licensed merchandise and brand licensing business in Australia, connecting retailers with officially licensed products from some of the world’s most recognisable brands. They specialise in delivering high-quality merchandise at competitive wholesale prices to trusted retail partners nationwide. Role Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to support our team in customer service, data entry, and administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments. Maintain accurate financial records and assist with financial reporting. Perform bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions and reconciling accounts. Enter orders, update data, and maintain records in company systems. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as required. Collaborate with team members to streamline financial and administrative processes. Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant financial regulations. Proven experience in finance, bookkeeping, or accounting roles. Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes. Experience in XERO would be an advantage Proficiency in Excel and financial management software; experience with [specific systems, if any] is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Nice-to-Have: Previous experience in data entry and order management Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently. Strong communication skills for collaborating across teams.
