Description

Key Responsibilities1. Financial StatementPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure accurate preparation of the Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
Review general ledger accounts, journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
Ensure revenue and expenses are recorded in the correct accounting period.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate unusual movements.
Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
Provide financial statements and supporting schedules to management, auditors, and other stakeholders.
Analyze financial results against previous periods and identify significant variances.

2. Intercompany ReconciliationReconcile transactions between group companies on a monthly basis.
Match intercompany receivables, payables, income, expenses, and transfers.
Investigate and resolve differences between entities.
Ensure intercompany balances are confirmed and agreed before month-end closing.
Record appropriate intercompany journals and adjustments.
Coordinate with finance teams of different subsidiaries/entities.
Ensure intercompany transactions are properly documented and supported.
Assist with elimination entries during group/consolidated reporting.

3. Management Reporting (MIS)Prepare accurate and timely Management Information System (MIS) reports.
Develop monthly management reports covering revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, receivables, payables, and business performance.
Prepare actual-versus-budget and actual-versus-forecast analysis.
Highlight significant variances and provide explanations to management.
Develop financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide management with financial insights to support business decisions.
Track departmental and business-unit performance.
Prepare customized reports for senior management and directors.
