Requirements: Qualifications & Experience: N6 Certificate in Finance, Accounting, or a related field The skills we need: Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and financial applications Effective time-management and organisational skills Proactive, hands-on, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Attributes required: Collaborative Creative Energy Hands on Have an opinion and voice it Strong communication skills Strong problem solving skills Key responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the Finance team to track and manage DC-related expenses Capture and process all invoices, including consumables, stationery, uniforms, labour, and other ad hoc expenses Reconcile all Purchase Orders at month-end and ensure accruals are correctly actioned Communicate with the Finance team regarding supplier queries, including remittances, non-payments, and urgent payments Distribute timesheets to Labour Brokers on a weekly basis and validate pay queries Maintain database accuracy in the Biometrics system Assist in preparing the DC monthly income statement and month-end journals to ensure accurate cost allocation Prepare cost variance analyses and reports/dashboards highlighting trends, issues, and solutions Support workforce planning and management, including preparing weekly timesheets for HOD approvals and invoicing for temporary employment service providers Identify and propose cost reduction initiatives while maintaining productivity Assist with ad-hoc team responsibilities as required Support month-end and year-end financial processes related to the DC functions This is a 12-month contract position.
