We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance & Admin Assistant to join our global finance team in support of our Head of Accounting, based at our European Head Office in Raunhiem, Germany.
This role is offered on a part-time, three day per week basis on a 12-month fixed-term-contract.

Essential skills

  • Secondary or Tertiary level education with Maths and English qualifications
  • Bookkeeping qualification or willingness to work towards this.
  • Computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office
  • High attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Fluent in German & English

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

As Finance & Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for various bookkeeping and working capital management transactions, along with general administrative tasks.

KEY DUTIES:

  • Posting account payable invoices
  • Allocation of cash receipts to accounts receivable invoices
  • Allocation of cash payments to accounts payable invoices
  • Cash book to bank account reconciliation
  • Creation of debtor balance circulars and cash allocation
  • Review and processing of expense claims
  • Incoming post management
  • Collation of employee sick notes
