Greenfoot Energy 4-Plex is looking for a Finance & Administration Coordinator who is ready for a challenging and rewarding experience. The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping, deposits, clerical work and administrative duties as assigned. Working directly with the Assistant General Manager and closely with other Senior Managers, you must be adaptable to situations and willing to think outside of the box.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
· Coding of all invoices, compiling all monthly invoices to give to Senior Managers for authorization.
· Data entry of all invoices using Accounting software after AGM authorization.
· Compile all monies for deposit, at times travelling with Senior Managers to the bank.
· Maintain all cash floats and petty cash including monthly cash counts.
· Receive payments from user groups and individuals for ice & room rentals.
· Data entry of sales reports from various departments including restaurants, cafe and arena.
· Accounts Receivable collections.
· Processing payments in Scheduling software.
· Processing payments with CMO, printing cheques, having Senior Managers sign, and mail.
· Corporate Visa reconciliations.
· Payroll completion
· Reconcile City of Moncton facilities and prepare invoices
· Maintain and update filing systems.
· All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Diploma/Certificate in bookkeeping/accounting is an asset.
· Strong organizational skills are critical
· Effective communication skills with internal and external clients.
· Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative is critical.
· Ability to operate within a “team” environment.
· Proficiency with related computer software programs.
Your written and verbal communication skills include the ability to prepare records, reports, correspondence and promotional material for programs as needed.
Term:
This is a full-time position. Hours are 40 hours per week, 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. However, there may be times which management requires additional hours in the week / weekend for special events.
Wages:
Remuneration will be commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications, pursuant to an approved hourly wage.
