Description

Position: Finance & Administration Executive
Salary range: 26,000 GBP per year
Contract Duration: 1 Year (Fixed-Term)

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

  • Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
  • Maintain meticulous records of outstanding payables
  • Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to suppliers in a timely manner
  • Ensure the accuracy of an organisation’s financial documents for payment, auditing and tax purposes
  • Prepare for payroll and VAT submission; posting of ledger journals
  • Execute credit card and bank account reconciliation
  • Allocate payments accurately in a timely manner to strict deadlines
  • Manually update and reconcile sale report for ticket sales
  • Manage cargo financial balance and bank guarantee
  • Manage ADM dispute, and liaise with other department to identify ticket issuance mistakes
  • Manage, issue BGB, MCO, FIM stock with agents and update on system
  • Immediate payment check for payments in account receivable
  • AWB verification, issueing and stock managmenet
  • Compile ADM/ACM reports and correspondence
  • Reconcile sales reports in RAS accounting system
  • Update payment status and bank guarantees on Cargo spot and to HQ
  • Verify and issue incentive notices
  • Perform AR receipts and transactions into GAS
  • Card payment outstanding balance by ticket numbers
  • Produce all the required monthly payment reports and documents
  • Set up new supplier accounts and amend existing supplier details as necessary
  • Deal with all enquiries related to invoices/payments, answering telephone calls and emails and liaising with relevant departments as necessary to ensure enquires are dealt with in a professional and timely manner
  • Negotiate and review contracts
  • Handle other human resource and administration duties
  • Any other duties as reasonably directed by Finance Manager and General Manager

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

  • Candidates must process at least a Diploma degree or equivalent (i.e. Having an accounting or economics background is advantageous)
  • Candidates will preferably have 2 years working experience in the Airlines industry
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Good written and communications skills in English (IELTS – 6.5 or above)
  • Good attention to detail, ability to multi task, excellent IT skills
  • Be available to travel within the UK and internationally when required
  • Good interpersonal, public relation, teamwork, negotiation and communication skills
