Finance & Administration Intern, Ethiopia Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Duration: 3-6 months Employment Type: Internship Full-time Allowance: 200 USD per month Reporting To: Finance and Operations Manager Deadline for applications: Monday 22nd of June 2026 Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance & Administration Intern to join our team. This role is designed for an individual looking to gain hands-on experience in office administration, procurement, financial data management, and NGO compliance. You will work directly with the Finance and Admin team, providing day-to-day support while developing foundational professional skills. Key Responsibilities General Administration & Team Support Daily Operations: Work directly with the finance and admin team to assist with day-to-day tasks related to the Administration Office, procurement, and finance. Travel Coordination: Support the coordination of team travel arrangements. Asset Management: Assist with fixed asset records, ensuring proper documentation and tracking of organizational assets. General Support: Provide general administrative support to the team as needed. Finance & Donor Reporting Reporting Assistance: Assist with the donor reporting process. Document Management: Handle the filing and scanning of financial documents to support reporting accuracy. Compliance & Record Keeping Personnel Files: Support the maintenance of up-to-date personnel files in compliance with Reach for Change and government requirements. Filing Systems: Support and maintain both online and offline organizational filing systems. Qualifications & Requirements Education Recent graduate or current student in their final year pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. Skills & Competencies Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word) and comfort learning cloud-based filing systems (e.g., Google Drive, SharePoint). Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when managing financial documents, scanning, and maintaining physical or digital personnel files. Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and prioritize administrative requests from different team members. Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills for coordinating travel and working closely with internal teams. Integrity & Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive financial and personal staff data with strict confidentiality.
