Job description As our Finance Administrator, you are the engine room of our finance operation. You make sure that invoices flow smoothly, payments go out on time, and our books reflect reality every single day. In a fast-moving international trading business, this matters: traders, suppliers and customers across 75+ countries rely on a finance team that is precise, responsive and on top of the details. This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You will work closely with our Financial Controllers and CFO, and act as the go-to point of contact for everything related to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. You bring structure, a sharp eye for detail, and the kind of calm reliability that lets the rest of the business focus on growing our customer base. We are offering this role on a part-time basis (20-28 hours per week) with flexibility on how those hours are spread across the week, so it fits well around studies, family or other commitments. About the role and key responsibilities What You Will Do Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Process incoming supplier and outgoing customer invoices accurately and on time, ensuring the right approvals and coding; Prepare outgoing payments and payment-runs, in line with our payment policies and cash position; Book payments and bank transactions, keeping our ledgers up to dateon a daily basis; Monitor open AR and AP positions, follow up on outstanding receivables /payablesand keep our DSO healthy. Prepare regular supplier and customer recons; Act as the point of contact for any AP or AR question from suppliers,customersand internal teams. Reconciliations & accuracy Perform supplier reconciliations and resolve discrepancies proactively. Reconcile bank statements and intercompany balances. Spot inconsistencies, missingdocumentsor unusual entries early — and flag them clearly. Support the Financial Controller during financial closing with clean, well-documented data. Process & continuous improvement Help us streamline AP/AR workflows and reduce manual work. Maintain clean master data for suppliers and customers. Your profile What We Are Looking For At least 2 years of experience in finance administration, AP/ARor similar role; Concise and precise way of working, with a sharp eye for detail — you naturally spot the number that does not add up; Interestedccontinuouslyimproving processes and execution byleveragingmodern technology, including AI-driven solutions; Comfortable English, both written and spoken; Comfortable working with deadlines and across multiple currencies and entities; Living in Amsterdam orvery closeto Amsterdam, so you can easily come into the office; Reliable,organizedand proactive — you take ownership of your work and follow through; Friendly and approachable: as the AP/AR point of contact, you are happy to pick up the phone and help. Bonus points if you have previously worked in an international trading, logistics or scale-up environment, or if you have hands-on experience with ERP or accounting systems (Business Central or similar). Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment runs, and ledger maintenance. Perform regular bank and supplier reconciliations while supporting the Financial Controller during financial closing.
