FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR

Location: North Weald / Epping / Harlow (Hybrid available)
Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 + Bonus Scheme

Peak Construction Recruitment Ltd are working with a fast-growing national services provider specialising in commercial electrical and civil infrastructure installations. They deliver mission-critical projects nationwide for major retail and logistics clients, with speed, precision, and professionalism.
We’re now looking for a Finance Administrator to take ownership of financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis – providing the leadership team with the clarity and insight needed to support strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

This is a hands-on finance role with real impact and exposure to senior leadership. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing daily bookkeeping including invoicing, expenses, reconciliations, and credit control.
  • Overseeing accounts payable/receivable workflows.
  • Producing weekly and monthly cashflow reports, forecasts, and board packs with commentary.
  • Building and maintaining KPI dashboards (e.g. job profitability, revenue per crew, completion rates).
  • Providing financial insight to support board-level decisions.
  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC and VAT requirements, maintaining accurate records.
  • Working closely with external accountants on monthly close, budgets, and longer-term planning.
