Job Description
We’re on the lookout for a detail-driven and proactive Finance Administrator to join our team. Working closely with both our Finance and Language Services teams, this role plays a key role in supporting flagship Language Service and Translation projects, ensuring the smooth running of financial processes.
About the role
The Finance Administrator is a key role supporting all financial administration tasks, with a focus on flagship Language Service and Translation Projects. The role ensures accurate processing of key financial data, including raising POs, matching invoices & collating necessary supplier documentation.
It is a high level transactional processing role, requiring daily interaction with the wider agency. This would be a great opportunity for someone who has entry level accounts payable experience and looking for their first step up into a more rounded financial operations role.
This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with financial standards and supports accurate and timely reporting, both internally and for external partners, including Government Departments.
Skills paramount to the role include clear communication skills to manage stakeholder expectations, great attention to detail, time management, teamwork, process improvement and a thirst for learning and development

  • Has a good foundation in accounts payable or transactional finance
  • Communicates clearly and can confidently manage internal stakeholder expectations
  • Has strong attention to detail and a knack for keeping things organised
  • Works well in a team but is also comfortable taking initiative
  • Is eager to learn and grow within a supportive finance team
  • Is familiar with Workbook or similar financial systems (a bonus, but not essential)

This is a permanent, full-time position, however, part-time and flexible work arrangements can be considered. Think HQ is a family-friendly, hybrid workplace. Our in-office days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Our Flex days are Tuesday and Thursday.

Responsibilities
  • Reviewing quotes and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and proper markup application
  • Managing supplier invoice processes, including compliance checks and data entry
  • Supporting the broader Finance and Operations team with maintaining supplier records and super payments
  • Acting as a key point of contact between Finance and Language Services
  • Assisting with supplier queries, providing timely responses to internal teams
  • Providing overflow support across accounts payable functions within the broader business
