ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Finance Officer, you will manage financial processing for both the museum’s charity and trading entities. Key responsibilities include maintaining the purchase ledger, overseeing petty cash, and supporting month-end procedures to ensure smooth financial operations. Reporting to the Financial Accountant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Process and manage supplier invoices, prepare payment runs, and resolve supplier queries.
Ensure accurate tracking and approval of credit card and petty cash transactions.
Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the fixed asset register.
Support the financial reporting process with month-end journals and reconciliations.
Provide training on finance systems for new starters and assist with financial controls.
