ABOUT THE ROLE
Acorn Early Years is a charitable organisation providing childcare and early education, operating day nurseries, forest schools, out-of-school clubs, and specialist early years catering and training services. We are an agile organisation that is growing rapidly, despite the challenges facing the sector, with 17 nurseries and over 450 employees with an expected turnover of approximately £13m this year. We are seeking a Finance Administrator for a fixed 9-month term starting August 2025 to cover maternity leave.
In this role you will be an integrated member of the finance team, assisting with the financial and accounting transactions, month end and general administrative tasks. You will also work closely with the nursery managers and administrators regarding invoicing queries.
The role is based in our Central Support Office in Castlethorpe, Monday to Friday. We are looking for an individual who would work 20 - 35 hours a week. Annual salary of £23,660 - £27,300 based on 35 hours per week.
