Summary: The role of the Finance Analyst is a key support to the Senior Finance Controller, providing critical insights and analysis to facilitate informed decision-making and drive financial performance. Working closely with the Senior Finance Controller, the Finance Analyst plays a pivotal role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes. This includes assisting in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models, conducting variance analysis, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement. Please note that this role is a 6-month fixed term contract. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Financial Analysis: Conduct in depth financial analysis to support strategic decision making. Analyze financial data, performance metrics, and trends to provide actionable insights to management. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual Budget and bi-annual forecasts. Work closely with department heads to understand the business needs and develop accurate forecasts. Variance Analysis: Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts. Investigate and explain variances, identifying areas of concern and opportunities for improvement. Reporting: Support on the preparation of monthly financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting key performance indicators, trends and risks. Costs Analysis: Analyze costs and the cost drivers across different departments. Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve efficiency. Month End Closing: Assist in the monthly closing activities as well as the preparation of the monthly consolidated P&L of the company, ensuring accuracy and correct coding of the financial data. Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analysis and special projects as required by management. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards and tax requirements. ERP Systems: Ensure optimization of financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to improve efficiency and accuracy. 5-6 years financial experience. (preferably in Beauty and/or luxury experience) Audit experience is an advantage. Batchelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field. Proficiency in ERP systems and excel. Excellent Communication skills. Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Positive attitude and can-do mindset.
