JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role involves analyzing complex financial data, generating detailed reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and contributing to strategic financial decisions.
The ideal candidate will have experience in financial modeling, variance analysis, and working with cross-functional teams in diverse business environments.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a Financial Analyst role, preferably in diverse, multicultural organizations.
  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles, financial systems, and reporting tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP or financial software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the interaction between operating systems and the general ledger.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to see the “big picture”.
  • Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and work collaboratively to implement them.
Responsibilities
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process across business units.
  • Assist in preparing and analyzing monthly financial and operational reports, including variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with senior management to present financial findings and insights.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of revenue, expenses, salaries, and operational costs — especially related to heavy equipment and project divisions.
  • Analyze financial trends, performance metrics, and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Maintain and update financial models, dashboards, and procedural documentation.
  • Perform reconciliations and quality checks to identify discrepancies in financial data.
  • Ensure accurate updates of financial data in internal systems and workbooks.
  • Provide assistance in the development of long-range financial plans and scenario modeling.
