Responsibilities

As a Finance Analyst, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality insights and analyses to senior management. Your expertise will help drive informed decision-making while promoting process efficiencies within the team.

  • Produce management information packs to support business decision-making.
  • Update monthly MI packs with data reconciliation to accounts.
  • Prepare and submit balance sheet and P&L accounts to the group via AXA’s consolidation system.
  • Conduct analytical reviews of accounts to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Generate accruals and pre-payments along with relevant audit lead schedules.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and rolling forecasts.
  • Perform variance analysis to identify trends and insights.
  • Create commentary schedules for management and group communications.
  • Collaborate with business managers to ensure budget accuracy and suitability.
  • Provide expert added-value analysis to support the senior management team

What you’ll bring:

  • Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA).
  • Previous experience in insurance or technical accounting is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving.
  • Positive attitude with a desire to progress within the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
