Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Finance Analyst for a fantastic business based in Exeter. This is a newly formed role due to business growth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing financial data, generating reports, and providing insights that support strategic decision-making. This role requires a combination of strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and proficiency in data management and analysis tools
Key duties will include:
· Provide a range of analysis and reporting to support business planning and decision-making processes.
· Ability to integrate finance data with our other data sources in order to produce insight on business performance
· Collaborate with the finance team and cross-functional teams to gather data and provide key business metrics
· Analyse financial performance against benchmarks and provide variance analysis.
· Prepare and maintain financial performance analysis across the business, highlighting KPI performance
· Creation of financial templates to support the growth of the businesses
· Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
· Monitor industry trends and economic factors that may impact the organisations finances.
· Involvement in the production of regular corporate reporting.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting with proficient skills in MS Excel. This role would suit a newly or recently qualified accountant looking to move into a more analytical role, or equally someone already carried out a similar role looking for a new challenge.
