Key Responsibilities: PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: This position will lead the day-to-day operations of the centralized CAL process. This is also responsible for data management, template enhancement, creation of complex reports, dashboards and analyses for Cost Allocation. This position will handle other incremental projects and analyses that may be delegated such as but not limited to field office-focused reports for other audiences like Global Centre and Support Offices that may be delegated by the team’s manager. This role will be partnering with the Shared Service staff and other GFSC teams for the usual CAL operations and processes and recommended enhancements thereof. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the day-to-day operations of the Centralized CAL process ensuring timely and correct output and effective resolution of issues. Monitor and review the CAL centralized output/process and identify risk areas. Address risk appropriately, and coordinate with Team Lead to mitigate and prevent future risk as needed. Identify gaps or areas of improvement and recommend them to the Team lead. Provide reports and analyses to Field offices related to Cost Allocation. Collaborate and coordinate with Field Offices for CAL policy compliance ensuring that FOs do the necessary adjustments on accounts with issues for accurate financial reports. Train and orient stakeholders on any cost allocation initiatives Finance policymaking, review and recommendation for Cost Allocation Maintain the integrity and timeliness of uploaded/linked reports in CAL and FO Reporting & Compliance Sharepoint. Explore, study and create automated financial report templates using the latest reporting/analyses technology such as PowerPivot, Power Query and Power BI (e.g., Consolidated Model, Hub tools). Collaborate with different teams such as Sunsytems, Datawarehouse and Data Model for data management, templates improvement and other related processes, reports and analysis improvement. Update CAL Training materials and documentation of manuals/ instructions such as those of the CAL tools and CAL Accounting Procedures whenever necessary as well as conduct of trainings. Promote World Vision’s values through example and hold others accountable for the same across the team. REQUIREMENTS: 3-5 years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting, preferably in a non-profit environment Can thrive in a multi-cultural, geographically dispersed work environment Average to above average skills in Microsoft applications especially Excel and PowerBI Has extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of finance and accounting Able to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization (verbally and in writing) Demonstrated ability to think independently and critically, self-learn and self-manage, and perform detailed and complex analysis. Has the confidence and competence to identify problems and recommend solutions and best practices. Has very strong analytical, problem-solving, multi-tasking and organizational skills Has experience in using Sunsytems software.
