JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Analyst with a background in the healthcare sector to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting, coupled with in-depth experience within the healthcare industry in the UAE. As a Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in providing financial insights, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring financial compliance within the healthcare setting.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or similar is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Finance Analyst in the UAE healthcare sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis within a healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare-specific financial metrics, revenue cycle, and cost structures.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial reporting software (experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or similar is an advantage).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including clinical and operational departments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Familiarity with UAE healthcare regulations, such as those from the DHA, HAAD, or MOH, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements specific to the healthcare sector.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the financial goals of the healthcare organization.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis to identify and explain differences between budgeted and actual financial results.
  • Analyze financial data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights for management decision-making.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and comply with relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Support in the preparation of financial models for strategic projects, investments, and cost-benefit analyses.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring adherence to local regulations and healthcare-specific accounting standards.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and recommend solutions to improve profitability and cost efficiency in healthcare operations.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including clinical, operations, and administration, to assess financial performance and contribute to the planning and strategy development.
  • Provide financial insights for decision-making related to investments in medical equipment, facility expansions, and other capital expenditures.
  • Assist with audits, both internal and external, to ensure financial practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
