Description:
QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CA or CPA qualification
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience with month end accounting
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation
- Experience with monthly operational & financial reporting
- Experience with SAP and/or Xero required
- Experience with Hyperion reporting and Blackline highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail
- Have continuous improvement focus - suggest ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the financial reporting and associated functions
- Experience in a B2B SaaS environment would be desirable

Responsibilities:
- Management and accurate reporting of P&L and Balance Sheet
- Month end accounting tasks and journal entries
- Review of financial records and correction of errors
- Expenditure and margin reporting, variance review and analysis
- Conduct financial accounting and reporting for stock reconciliations, journals, new sales, fixed assets recording and depreciation, prepayments and accrued expenses
- Undertake accounts payable process including accounts payable approvals, pay run processing, reviewing bank receipts and sending purchases invoices to Xero / accounting software
- Assist with ad-hoc finance admin processes work such as bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, site reporting, connectivity checking and stock ordering
