Job Summary: The Finance Analyst provides financial and operational analytical support to the manufacturing business unit, with a strong focus on cost control, production efficiency, and inventory management. This role works directly under the Manufacturing Finance Controller and is expected to leverage modern AI-assisted tools to surface insights faster and with greater accuracy. Manufacturing cost control & analysis Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs including direct materials, direct labor, and overhead against standard costs and budget targets; identify key cost drivers and escalate material deviations. Review and validate costing and pricing calculations to ensure accuracy and alignment with production realities. Support cost reduction initiatives by providing data-driven analysis on process inefficiencies and waste. Inventory & supply chain support Build and maintain Excel-based inventory models to track stock levels, reorder points, and import requirements. Collaborate with production planners to determine import volumes while maintaining target inventory levels and minimizing carrying costs. Reconcile inventory data across SAP and departmental sources; flag discrepancies for resolution. Reporting & dashboards Design and maintain KPI dashboards covering financial, operational, and manufacturing metrics (e.g., cost per unit, OEE, scrap rate, throughput). Transform raw data from SAP and operational systems into clear, decision-ready charts and visualizations for management. Compile historical data and produce forecasts and projections in support of budgeting and business planning. Analytics & project support Assist the Finance Controller in deriving data-driven business insights and actionable recommendations. Handle ad hoc analysis and special project work as assigned by the Finance Controller. Source and consolidate data across departments to support cross-functional analysis. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics in Finance, Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Accountancy, or equivalent Fresh graduate to 2 years of experience; strong grounding in Accounting and Finance principles required Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modelling, pivot tables, dynamic arrays) and PowerPoint Working knowledge of SAP (FI/CO or MM modules preferred); experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage Skills & competencies Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and adapt quickly to new information Strong cross-functional coordination skills to source and consolidate data across departments Analytical mindset with attention to detail and comfort handling large data sets "Motolite offers you not just a job, but a career with boundless opportunities" Powering the Future Motolite batteries are proudly made by Philippine Batteries Inc.
