Here’s how you will make a difference in this role… As Finance Analyst, you will be just as comfortable presenting and communicating with senior leaders as you are driving Excel and searching for insights. You will ensure timely completion of all key period-end and other regular reporting requirements whilst seeking to provide financial support to the operational teams and make recommendations where applicable. You will be comfortable engaging with and advising on varying aspects of controllable financial performance. Such recommendations may include improvements to financial control, efficiency of reporting and system and/or data integration, as well as highlighting areas of risk and discrepancy with suggestions for improvement in support of the wider MMS Group compliance obligations. You will play a lead role in the budgeting and forecasting requirements for relevant areas including project reporting, in addition to analysing actual performance against these financials and metrics. Your key responsibilities in this role will include: Preparation of monthly management reports tracking financial performance against budget and forecasts for each profit and cost centre including variance analysis Month-end accounting including reconciliations and journals Project reporting including tracking performance against approved budget, including liaising with stakeholders on performance. Play a lead role in budgeting and forecasting requirements for relevant areas Analysing actual performance versus forecasts and budgets Analysing trends and financial performance across finance & operational streams To be considered for this role you will have: 4 + years as a Finance Analyst or Similar Strong commercial acumen; able to turn data into a story resulting in clear, actionable insights. Proven influence with senior business leaders. Experience partnering with corporate functions on cost reporting, budgeting and driver-based allocations to LOBs. Exposure to portfolio/asset finance, interest-rate modelling and pricing preferred. Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC, aka. Responsibilities
