The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing senior-level credit expertise across the assessment, structuring and approval of complex commercial and business lending transactions.
• Applying sound commercial judgement to balance lending opportunities with appropriate credit risk management.
• Assessing financial performance, cash flow, serviceability, security structures and broader borrower risk.
• Working closely with senior stakeholders and lending teams to structure commercially appropriate transactions.
• Contributing to credit policy, lending frameworks, risk management and improvements in credit decision-making.
• Providing technical leadership, guidance and mentoring across the business.
• Supporting the continued development of the organisation's lending capabilities as it grows.

About You

We are seeking an accomplished credit professional with a substantial track record in lending, ideally gained across banking or broader financial services.

Ideally, you will bring:

• Extensive experience in commercial credit assessment, structuring, decision-making and leadership.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial lending, financial analysis, cash flow, serviceability and credit risk.
• Demonstrated experience with complex transactions, credit approval authorities and lending risk frameworks.
• The ability to engage confidently with senior executives and provide commercially balanced credit advice.
• A track record of developing people, improving credit processes and contributing to broader business outcomes.
• A practical, solutions-oriented approach and an interest in remaining closely involved in lending decisions.
