We’re looking for a curious, commercially minded, and confident Finance Analyst to join our team of 20+ finance professionals supporting our logistics operation – an area that’s growing, investing and innovating at pace. Whether you’re newly qualified or on your way there, this is an opportunity to gain exceptional exposure across one of the UK’s most exciting businesses.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is either a qualified accountant with 2–3 years’ experience or a part-qualified professional with strong skills in budgeting and forecasting. You could be a previous or current Finance Analyst, Management Accountant, Commercial Finance Analyst, Reporting Finance Analyst or similar.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

You’ll work closely with our retailer partners, operations teams, and wider finance community to provide meaningful analysis and insight that helps drive key decisions. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Partnering with retailer finance teams to provide clear, insightful commentary on performance
  • Preparing journals, cost allocations and management reporting for periodic submissions including Ocado Logistics property.
  • Supporting budgets and forecasts, acting as a key liaison between Accounting and the retailer
  • Building and maintaining financial models to support commercial decision-making
  • Reviewing and supporting capital investment requests and controls
  • Preparing weekly flash performance reports for the Senior Leadership Team
  • Owning end-to-end accounting for property costs in Logistics
  • Embedding the right compliance processes and financial standards
  • Challenging and supporting business stakeholders to deliver valueDriving improvements in financial controls and reporting processes
