Studying CIMA or ACCA qualification with 2-3 years finance experience, along with the following.

  • Strong communication skills and able to effectively contribute in a working environment
  • Excellent organisational skills with a hands on and eye for detail
  • Good knowledge of accounting concepts
  • Strong financial control, analytical and data modelling skills
  • Track record of seeking out and delivering opportunities for personal and business process improvement

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

RAC have a fantastic opportunity for two Finance Analysts to join our Head Office Finance team.
In this fast-paced role you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial support across our Group functions including Digital and Technology, Property & Facilities and HR including month end processing, monthly reporting and forecasting, providing full and accurate financial information, guidance, advice and insight.
This position is suited to someone part-qualified looking to progress and develop whilst finalising their ACCA or CIMA qualification and looking to get a wide range of experience across a number of business areas and financial activities.
This role will be a flexible hybrid model of working three days from home and two days at our Bescot office.

WHAT YOU’LL DO…

  • Own all aspects of financial control, including production of monthly management accounts.
  • Produce insightful monthly reporting and analysis to support business area objectives
  • Support the annual budgets and periodic reforecasts process
  • Report and monitor project spend for business areas
  • Understand and highlight cost drivers and KPIs, under/over performance, trends and actions to drive improvement
  • Help identify and support cost efficiency initiatives across the groupIdentify opportunities to add value through continuous focus on process enhancement
