Description
SAIC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated candidate to join our Corporate FP&A - Indirect Rates team. This position is responsible for the timely financial analysis, financial forecasting, and identification of actions for business performance improvements. Duties and Responsibilities: Support FP&A with all financial planning, forecasting and analysis activities (AOP, quarterly, period close, strategic, indirect rates). Prepare, evaluate, and distribute financial data and provide actionable recommendations to organization leaders. Responsible for development of complex financial models to support indirect rate development. Support DCAA audit requests. Support proposals by providing financial guidance and preparing overhead rate build ups. Maintenance of corporate and group allocation bases. Perform period close reporting and variance analysis to various stakeholders. Communicate regularly with the leadership team and assist in finance related operational activities. Continuously evaluate current processes and make recommendations to improve financial forecasting, planning, and reporting. Bachelors in finance or accounting discipline and a minimum of three (3) years or more of related experience; Masters and one (1) or more experience. Proficient in Power BI. Proficient in Excel. Working knowledge of Costpoint is preferred but not required. Excellent oral and communication skills. Ability to develop financial forecasts and explain variances to plan. Strong analytical, quantitative, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to operate independently as well as effectively establish solid working relationships with management and functional departments. Candidate must be U.S. Citizen Desired Skills: Knowledge of SAIC operations and processes.
