Ready to turn data into clear insight that supports store success.
As a Finance Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of preparing management accounts for UK Optics stores. In this role, you’ll ensure data accuracy and timely delivery, helping Store Directors understand their financial performance and resolve any queries related to their management and statutory accounts.
You’ll lead the production of store management accounts and perform month-end processes, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Working closely with Store Directors, you’ll provide insights into account movements, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets. Your role will be key in validating key balances and transactions within store ledgers.
You’ll also handle debtor reconciliations and review trial balances, ensuring everything adds up accurately. As the go-to person for accounting queries, you’ll deliver excellent service while applying accounting standards and double-entry principles to post into store management accounts. Additionally, you’ll prepare statutory accounts and supporting documents under FRS 102 1A, ensuring full compliance and accuracy.
We’re looking for someone who is studying towards or has completed an entry-level accounting qualification, such as AAT, ACCA, or CIMA. A solid understanding of Excel, accounting standards, and double-entry bookkeeping is essential. Your attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to communicate effectively will set you apart.
Join a team where accuracy and insightful analysis are top priorities. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills, receive development support, and work closely with Store Directors.
This role closes on 10th September 2025; however, we may close the advert sooner if we get inundated with high-quality applications. So don’t delay your application, apply now – you’ll be glad you did
