ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Analyst to join our team and play a key role in financial data analysis that supports student load forecasting, unit costing, and strategic planning across the University.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to financial modelling for current operations, new initiatives, and long-term planning—while working collaboratively with faculties and business units.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • A qualification in finance, statistics, or a related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Query & SQL, and data tools
  • Ability to manage and interpret large datasets
  • A fast-learning mindset and adaptability
  • Confidence working under pressure and meeting deadlines
Responsibilities
  • Lead data collection, analysis, and modelling for annual unit costing updates
  • Support student load planning, including enrolment and revenue forecasting
  • Extract and manipulate data using tools such as Business Objects, Web Intelligence, Excel, OLAP cubes, and dashboards
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights using effective visualisation and presentation techniques
  • Present key findings to faculty executive teams and stakeholders
  • Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support strategic decision-making
  • Provide administrative and analytical support to faculties and business units
  • Collaborate with the Finance & Analytics team to identify and implement process improvements
  • Build strong professional relationships across the University to support team goals
