POSITION SUMMARY: The Finance Analyst is an entry-level role responsible for supporting the execution and oversight of affordable housing financial transactions and portfolio activities. This position works closely with senior finance and asset management professionals to assist with underwriting, financial modeling, loan conversions, compliance processes, and investor reporting. The Finance Analyst will gain hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of multifamily affordable housing investments while contributing to the financial performance and operational excellence of the portfolio. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: * Experience: 1-2 years in related field preferred * Knowledge: Familiarity with financial modeling and affordable financing programs * Skills: Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills; proficiency in financial reports and legal documents   ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Support Loan Conversion: Assist in managing the process from construction to permanent financing * 8609 Processes: Support the coordination with stakeholders, preparation of documentation, and timely submission * Asset Management Support: Assist in maximizing profitability and ensuring asset quality, help resolve financing issues * Support Loan Refinances: Assist with refinancing existing loans to optimize financial performance * Support Equity Partner Buyouts: Aid in the process of buying out equity partners to streamline ownership structures * Industry Trends: Stay updated with policies and regulations related to affordable housing finance, provide insights to the team * Risk Management: Participate in team initiatives to improve processes, reporting, data integrity, and portfolio monitoring * Perform all other duties as assigned SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE: * Bachelor's degree * 1-2 years in finance or related field   PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: * Frequently sit, stand and walk * Regularly required to talk or hear * Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls * Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl * Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds * Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus * The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate * Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate, though the ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary.   TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: * Travel up to 10% of the time The Elmington Affordable Experience We're creating a different kind of company at Elmington Affordable.
