The opportunity This is an 18-month fixed-term opportunity to: Be our finance asset specialist helping to account for our complex property, plant and equipment portfolio of $1.98bn, across roading, water supply, wastewater, stormwater, parks and reserves, land, buildings, and other community assets. A budgeted investment of $132m for the current financial year is planned to continue our growth journey. Liaise with project managers and asset solutions team to reconcile and process capital expenditure into our financial system. Provide support on the implementation of assets into our new ERP and source systems. This includes ensuring the quality of information meets our standards. Assist with improving the asset capitalisation process with a focus on constant improvement. Assist in the preparation of the Annual Report, in particular the Property, Plant & Equipment note and liaising with audit. To set you up for success, you’ll have A minimum of three years experience in a similar role. Be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the capitalisaiton process and a proven track record in this space. Process, systems and solution orientated. Enthusiastic, self motivated and results orientated, with a drive for best practice.
