POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Finance & Accounting Senior Manager who brings precision, accountability, and financial clarity to our high-velocity environment. This isn’t just a back-office role – it’s a cross-functional position that helps leadership plan smarter and scale faster. You will collaborate with the finance and accounting teams and departments across the agency to assist in ensuring our books are buttoned up, our insights are sharp, and processes are built to support growth. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Oversee core accounting operations including general ledger activities, journal entries, and ensure timely month-end close processes.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning efforts.
  • Assist with federal and state tax filings in coordination with external tax firm.
  • Maintain compliance with GAAP standards and internal accounting policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Partner with external auditors and ensure audit readiness and documentation accuracy.
  • Collaborate with leaders to translate financial insights into strategic business recommendations.
  • Support finance tech optimization efforts – streamline workflows and drive automation where possible.
